I think they came with red or black calipers as options..

On a seperate note there is a funny smell in the car(i think it is from carpets or the leather) and i am not able to remove it. i tried carpet fresheners, air fresheners etc.. any recommendations ?

Smoke more cigars.

That smell issue is very unfortunate. I get so many comments about the smell of the leather in my 07 car. If I were able to offer any help I would suggest these measures none of which attempt to cover over but eliminate:

1. do a carpet extraction shampoo with an unscented and scent eliminating shampoo
2. treat the headliner in a similar fashion.
3. do a full leather condition/clean with Leatherique
4. rule out odors coming from the a/c system.

Good luck mate. The aroma experience of Bentley ownership should be one of the positive aspects of the car.

Like Mel said the A/C may be the problem. I would change the carbon cabin air filter.

Also, once you clean the carpets well you can use a product such as an odor eliminator "bomb" that may be the coup de grace. Go to autogeek.net and look under the interior products section. There are probably similar products available in the UK.

As far as the Cabin air filter change being a DIY task I can't say definitively as I have not done so yet (mine is a 2013 with only 4500mi or so). I have changed them on 2 BMW750's, a MB G500 and S500 and it was simple. I am working on the assumption that it would be an owner capable task on the B. But then again.....you never know. Perhaps BentleyTech will take note of the thread and chime in.

Robin I would expect he could determine fairly easily if the odor is coming from the ac system. if the car smells bad with no fan operation and the odor does not change with ac use I would suspect the odor is in the carpet, headliner or leather. If there were no odor in the car but started with ac or heat fan operation I would highly suspect the ac system. Make sense?

I bet there was some odor that was trying to be covered up and the effort to do so just made another mess. If you spray dog chit with perfume you just have different smelling crap.

I think it is the air filter as the smell was stronger as soon as i switched the car on. I am going to see if I can replace the filter myslef or if i need to take to dealer.

Ona seperate note, does anyone know if the MY11 Supersports NAIM system plays MP3 discs. if it does, any specific format i need to use as i currently am unable to play any mp3s.
