2008 Bentley CGTC ignition coil and fuses
Anyone know where the fuses are to the Ignition coil bank 1 and 2? I'm not sure if I've blown a fuse or ignition coil. Here's what happened. We had our first near freezing temp. night here. I started my GTC in the garage but didn't let the engine warm. Pulled out and went directly to street (30 seconds and a couple hundred feet). Started to pull out on the main road and a car was coming waaaay fast at me so I floored the gas to avoid an accident. The car got up to about 35 mph in a second or two and I was doing great, then all of the sudden, the engine light came on and the engine went to 1/2 power. I just circled around, went home and put the car back in the garage. I figured I didn't let the engine warm up enough before putting "the pedal to the metal" and I blew a fuse or an ignition coil. Any ideas? Here's photos of my fusebox under hood (bonnet) on passenger side USA car.
You should do a diagnostic scan first. It appears your car has gone into "limp" mode. Once you can report on DTCs, we can offer more insight. To check engine management fuses, see the diagram I have provided as an attachment. Check C00754,753, 752, 751,756,755.
I have the complete Bentley (just like at the dealership) computer and software. I just haven't hooked up the car and gone through the diagnostics.
My mechanic says "check the remaining fuses with a test light or ohm meter on both sides. There will be a blown fuse I bet."
This happened once before and it was an ignition coil. We will see. Now just need the time to do some mechanic work and investigation. Car is still like it was...after sitting a couple days...engine running at about 1/2 power and noxious fumes...dies easily too. I just pulled it in and out of the garage a time or two.
Thanks and keep any suggestions coming.
