Angry Blocked drain holes - GT 2004

Well had a good search, be gentle if I missed a response

Any help appreciated on my Bentley GT 2004.

Drain holes - drains for the spoiler area - mine has the water issue which I noticed when I washed at the weekend, it was like floodmybootageddon when I finished and opted to open the boot - water went everywhere !!

I'm guessing the drains are the 2 holes on the bottom of the boot panel?? effectively 2 open rubber grommets (one each side) and one blanked off in the centre.

If they are, I got hold of some strimmer cable (thickish) and went through about 5m in length but could not see where the end was coming out - if anyone has any experience could you advise please.

I did the filler cap one, but once again could not see where it was coming out - it just ate the strimmer wire by about 3m when I stopped.

I had the same issue on my 2007. I just used compressed air from the top and it blew everything right out; no further problems.

+1 for the compressed air trick. That worked on my filler drain too. After clearing it out, I squirted some WD40 down there and haven't had a problem since.
The boot drains are the two rubber grommets you mention.

Thanks guys - so where are the exit and entry points for the ducts? On the boot lid I'm guessing the ones on the bottom are exit, but where is the entry 😡 squirting air I get but just curious?

Have looked under the spoiler- nothing so baffled as to how the water exits if it can't enter 😳👍

The filler cap exit drain is located behind the rear wheel close to the wheel arch aft.

Do a search in this forum for "a large amount of water", there are pictures of the drains. Hope this helps.
