I have a 2008 Bentley GT Speed that now has 8000 miles on it and a 2013 RR Ghost that has 14000 miles on it. Both have been completely trouble free. Having both I can see the differences in them. The Rolls while quite a big car drives like a much smaller car. Maybe it is the the fact that it shares a lot with a BMW. BMW always being know as the drivers car. The Rolls also rides much smoother and is quieter than the Bentley. The Bentley has a nicer and smoother paint job and the leather in the Bentley smells better although not as good as the leather in our Aston Martin. The Bentley is also much faster. The extra stitching in the cross quilted leather is also nicer looking than the plain looking leather in the Rolls. They are both great cars and I feel very blessed to be able to own and enjoy them.

Located in Miami, FL. Did you get them replaced at Dealership or regular mechanic shop?

Beautiful lineup! I personally am enjoying more the Rolls. It drives better and more room (obviously lol). My Rolls currently has 42K miles and warranty expired. Do you know how I can extend it ? I tried with dealership and they said Rolls doesn't offer extended warranty.

Nice tradeup rdsrllc! I've been coveting the Wraith
since they came out. Thankfully, they are really starting to depreciate and are fast descending into my price range. What's more the mileage on the used market for these seems to be amazingly low, collectively vs. Bentley, which itself is lower than other cars. Seems Bentley is truly the drivers car vs the owners car. But as stated by so many others. The road presence of a Rolls is unbeatable.

I’ve been looking at the RR line also and had my eye on the Wraith. Just the beauty of that machine is something. Hopefully after the move to Vegas and the business is successful, in a few yrs I can start sniffing around a 14 or 16 Wraith. I vowed to stay away from BMW but I might have to make this one exception!

I completely agree with you guys. Wraith is an exceptional car. A real statement....

TJ - you'll find some nice cars in Vegas.

nguyennhatquang has a spectacular aura aboutnguyennhatquang has a spectacular aura about
I wouldn't, I have a Rolls Royce Ghost 2010 before and that thing was a pieces of crap..
Them electrical is better than Bentley but them Mechanical is terrible..
at 30k Miles I have misfire issue which due to the Crap Piezo injector which BMW use in Same any freaking cheap BMW out there and it hell of expensive for 12 injector...
then I have an issue with TPMS module which sometimes it said TPMS Malfunction in the DASH...

and worsting happen is the Engine, that thing is crap... it start to burning oil at 50k miles. The dealer asking to do an engine rebuild with some hundred bug in Valve stem seal part but cost a lot in Labour... then it leaking oil... suspension issue...
I dont remember but except the Rolls Badge it is a pieces of crap 760li...
and the driving is not as good as Bentley also... it silky smooth... better for sitting in the back rather than driving it.

that is the reason I have 2 bentley instead of Roller... at least it can bring me to where I need to go... and not break down

Good feedback to hear from someone who has owned both.

Sorry to hear about your bad experiences, nguyennhatquang, but glad you're finding the Bentleys reliable. Also, totally agree with BWings on hearing your firsthand perspective and truly appreciate the candor.

Agree about the BMW motors... Really wanted an 6- coupe/convertible, but was totally put off by the N63 engine and the associated problems from folks with first hand experience who also spoke up. Hope the 6.6 isn't a derivative of the 4.4, but doing the math on the displacement, it doesn't look promising, lol!

Must be true what I've heard... The cost to buy a Rolls vs the cost to own a Rolls, are two things entirely.
