A fellow member asked me my thought on how to open the phone without damage, so here are the pictures, WARNING, be very careful with the 2 wires for the speaker, you may want to pop the speaker out by prying around the circle it's in, plus the same care for the 2 wires for the antenna.

The guy in Texas (Best Buy IC) is checking on stock and price.


There is a battery on EBay at $5, but it not exactly the same part number letter wise, same 3.7 volts though, I am also attaching the PDF Varta Spec sheet for the PLF423566, it shows the measurements.

Wow! That circuit board looks horrendous! Did you electro-wash the board too (I hope)?

Might not be worth saving, frankly. Obviously there could be board/part damage due to water ingress.

 

Yeah I wasn't planning on saving it, I only took it apart to show the other member how to disassemble, I found one for $100.00

Oh, I'm sorry everyone for the dirty fingernail pics my hands took a beating the last 2 weeks, and they hurt like he'll, especially the two thumbs......
