Forget Bentley Dealer, Great Results At VW
Forget Bentley Dealer, Great Results At VW
Have to say, I've been taking to the GTC to the local VW dealer recently and they have been excellent! While the Bentley dealer wanted $300 for alignment, the VW dealer uses the $50,000 Hunter system and charged only $150. That was a few weeks back.
Noticed a tire imbalance, VW rebalanced the fronts for $22. Head service guy is British and a JOY to work with. Between them and my indie European Starr I have a feeling the astronomical costs to service the GTC has just come down to something far more reasonable.
So just a heads up that using a VW dealer when your indie can't do certain things can be an excellent alternative.

www.boastvw.com and their head service gentleman is British too. They use the same Hunter $50k alignment machine as Bentley I believe. You can easily use them for alignment, normal oil changes, etc as the earlier modern Bentley cars are 'basically' a VW Phaeton.
For more in-depth issues I highly recommend European Starr www.europeanstarrauto.com in Nokomis (ask for Kevin). Kevin has been a joy to work with and prices are reasonable. They also work on BMW, Mercedes, Jaguar, Audi, Porsche, etc too.

Thanks for your reply. With regard to Kevin, you may recall that I am the one who recommended him and European to you in the first place. I am north for the summer and still look forward to meeting you in Longboat next winter. Mel
