2008 purchase
A majority of used cars have there hidden secrets! That is mainly why they are let go. I would suggest you have the car checked out with the vas5054a before purchase. They can be very expensive quickly. These cars are very complex. They usually can be maintained by a qualified service center but finding one in you area could be another problem. I would look for one with less mileage. Try to be patient there are a lot out there in that vintage with less mileage. You get what you pay for.
the national average is 15k miles a year. This one has done 10k a year. In my price range there are many 04-05. A few high mileage 2006, and even fewer 07. But this is the only clean title 08 for my price range, I've seen in all my 8 months of research. I've been looking everday, around the country, and even other countries. I dont think the milage is excessive for the year.
Probably because they are putting it through their certification process right now. If anyone is interested and you want some "inside baseball"....the trade allowance tendered was $65K

Huh?? It's a spotless '08 GTC with 15K miles and Mulliner package. $65K was on the low side IMO

Consider a 2008 with 15K miles may still have the original tires. Even the Bentley GT owner's manual warns not to drive on tires over 6 years old. Something to look into.
Seems like low-mid 70's would be a great price on that car.

A 2008 at that price is a steal, if the key words Steven stated were followed "properly serviced", then at 80K she has many many more miles to go, I also would scan the vehicle prior to purchase as others have stated, if the seller says no, well there is a signal to flee, I have also seen were people just drive the hell out of a car just maintaining the minimum to keep it running, I am not in one bit trying to discourage you, just be thorough, sometimes our excitement blocks our eyes, BTDT, and it could be a 100 % Gem, I hope for the latter for you !
.
price reflects the miles, before i bought my 2007 i almost bought a 2008 with 81k for 59k, it was the "i don't remember edition" so 48k for a 2008 with 80k is not too bad, after i backed out someone from california flew and grabbed it all the way down here in texas, oh yeah he financed it too!
And im glad I got a a car with more miles, then a car with less miles, and older vehicle. because what I spent on the 08, I could have gotten a 05 or 06 with less miles. I want a car that's being used. instead of sitting in the garage. My experience with bmw, Mercedes, and now B. I realize you do them harm by letting them sit. get out and drive them like you stole it(wwhich I did).
....on the tire noise...what is the Make of tires and the size...are they all the same...how many miles on these tires...I don't believe it is recommended to rotate tires...have you checked each tire with a proper gauge to determine wear pattern....just couple weeks ago driving my 09 Volvo C30 caught a glimpse of sun shining off steel thread on inside front of Perrelli's probably from careless under inflation...got new set with align $1000...my 10Speed careful driven 20,000 miles one quarter through second set of Perrelli's...alignment very important, our B Dealer here couldn't do proper job...JimB
