Dead infotainment unit
long time reader first time poster
have 2005 continental GT with a broken infotainment unit. Currently at a local Indy who is having problems sourcing parts. They went through closest Bentley dealer who wanted over $5000 for a replacement.
Any suggestions or recommendations for finding a used one or refurbishing current part. Part number 3W0035008

eBay, and i think there's a guy here who might have a pull from a parts car so hopefully he chimes in.

I hope you realized that the $1050 unit is "for parts only and not working", What part does yours need ?

well that's embarrassing. I ordered on my iPhone, the display of which makes it even harder to find the "for parts or not working" in small print and separate from the main description. The bold font advertisement of "UNIT IS IN VERY GOOD CONDITION," I agree is misleading as "condition" implies function as opposed to "appearance" which would have been more apt for a non-working unit. I sent the seller a message to clarify before shipping.

I received your PM and responded twice, hopefully you received them, please tell me what the symptoms with your unit, as so I can give you options of rebuilding or replacing your unit.
I now have two unit for parts and one in complete working order.
