Faulty outside temperature sensor reading after disconnecting bumper loom

Hi,

After disconnecting the front bumper wire loom and reconnecting, my temperature sensor reads -49F when it is hot out.

Is there any way to reset the sensor or my sensor has gone bad and need replacement? I've tried unplugging and replugging the sensor but the result is the same.

The problem seems to be resolved after driving the car on the road for awhile. FYI for others who have the same issue.

I have the exact same issue but haven't driven the car yet so hopefully I get the same result
