3W0035007Q DISPLAY AND CONTROL UNIT CGT / CFFS / CGTC EURO so off to resend it back.
The dealership charged me $300 to tell me that neither units wouldn't reprogram. They reporgrammed another unit from another clients "2013" in garage and it worked. I'm in the hunt for 3W0035007C model. I will pay top dollar if anyone knows.

A few things,
1) I think you have a typo, you are looking for a 3W0 035 017 C correct, not a "007 C".
2) Again I think you mistyped the "Q" unit number that you purchased, you stated "3W0035007Q", again the "007" is incorrect for your vehicle.
3) The "007" as in 3W0 035 007 plus revision letter is for the Euro version of the 2003 to 2010 Infotainment head units, and the "008" as in 3W0 035 008 plus or minus the revision letter of either D, E, F, or L is for the 2004 to 2011 Infotainment head units for North America.
4) I would like to know who told you the "Q" was for Europe, I find it odd that if the "Q" was in fact for a European model then why was one sold in Las Vegas, and another "Q" is for sale right now out of Cali, although it has the same problem as your first unit, no sound, yet there are no Q's for sale in Europe.
Please post some pictures of your original unit, and the "Q" unit you purchased, and tell us if the radio worked at all, meaning did it tune to FM stations properly, did the NAV show up for USA, did any odd to you items pop up like DVB, DAB, TP, ETC. on this "Q" unit ?
Here's the pictures of the that Unit. I ended getting my money back from this Q model since I couldnt figure out why it kept recyling.I found a place in England that ended up selling me a unit completely refurbished for $2500 called uniconcomponets. I still have my core from orginal car. The company wanted $2000 to refurb it. I'm selling my amplifier if anyone needs one. The dealership intially told me that my unit needed a new one but wasnt the case. They wouldnt let me return the part after ordered.
The Q unit worked in my car as far as Fm radio but kept recyling.
Now the only problem I have is I found a bentley navigation DVD version 6(3W0 919 859 BR VER.6) and the navigation unit that they sold me had preloaded UK maps. I inserted the DVD but can't get the US maps to load in system.I hear its a 2hr process. I put CD in and says something about diffent than database currently has than reloops and no maps are loaded except the UK ones.
Guys, i have a problem with my radio. One day it started work too slow and sometimes display turned off. After a few hours display turned off totally. Worked only the backlight without image. I took it from car, made out the radio and checked for bad resistors. I've not found any. I assembled the mechanism and now it works from 1 min to 15 min. Can you help me? Maybe you know where is problem...

I own a 2012 Bentley Continental GT. Initially I had a radio that came with the car everything worked but no sound (possibly capacitors or microprocessor needs switching) would come from speaker after purchasing with 25k miles. I changed out the amplifier from the dealer still no sound. I bought the one from a salvage yard and had dealer install it I have sound but with one stipulation it constantly resets.Dealer also stated he didnt have to put a radio code. When I start the radio after installing it constantly resets. It gets as far as the welcome screen (BENTLEY SPlash screen). Lets you switch thru the screen within two minutes it reboots. I do nothing the headunit itself.
I have heard previously with VOLKswagon cars there is SWL fix cd that fixed a RNS 510 headunit which they had similar issue.
anyone else have this issue.

Sorry to dredge this post up from the dead but I am looking at a lovely Bentley GT Supersports 2009 that has the gen1 headunit and its a deal breaker for me having had a non Supersports bentley gt before.
I am however quite a big fan of the facelift headunits that seem to have made it in to the very late Bentley GT's and was wondering if converting it over is a complete nightmare and honestly not worth it in any way.
