Anti-roll bar advice

Hi guys, looking for some more advice.... Went to change the rear left drop link only to find the ARB clamp is broken. My car is a 2004 GT and the replacement ARB is 3W0511407E now my question is will a 3W0511407F fit which is the ARB from a 2005 model? Anybody know what the differences are between the 2 parts? I ask as I can get the "F" part brand new at the same price as a 2nd hand "E". I believe the only way to get the clamp is as a unit with a new ARB, is this correct?

I've managed after much digging to find VW part number 3D0511439 which is a new replacement clamp so no need to replace the whole ARB.

Good info Steve. I didn't have any help for you, but you've helped me/my Bentley tech library.

All the Best,

Steve H.
