Gas cap doesn’t open

Gas cap doesn’t open

hi guys any help here ...
the scan says e319 short circuit to ground gas cap.
window was open rainy day...
any idea what I should do?
thx much

Clear the error and try the switch again. Sounds like the switch may have got wet.

Like Steve said, or let it dry out a few days, maybe hit the switch area with a blow dryer if it is in fact that the gas lid release button got wet when the window was down, or you have a shorted release solenoid in the boot, if you can not get it open electrically and you need to fill up, you can pull the release cable in the boot.
