How do you set up pre load on Bentley GT 2004 door handles

Hi guys I need advice How to set up the ore load on door handles GT 2004 and understand the way the mechanism works if anyone has the time to explain it would be greatly appreciated

This pre load is not really required, I did not do it when I installed soft close door setup in my rebuild, I just did it and took some pictures, it's just a spring that holds the outer handles level tight for the first pull of the outer handle, to set the cable notches in their seat and proper adjustment, and on that said first pull, the spring disengages from the lever as pictured.

I don't want to get mixed up with information in two threads, so I am going to post all the pictures in the can anyone help thread.
