Any Arnage owners here ?
Hi there Im new to this forum , just bought a 2000 Arnage , I’m in USA looking to take delivery soon as it’s coming across country . Any other arnage owners in here ? Where do you like to get your parts besides eBay and flying spares?
I know about the head gasket problems , mine was done in 2012 by the dealer . Hopefully that means I’m good . I’ll probably need to do ball joints and the passenger door latch sometimes doesn’t work , any one experienced those ?

Aspiring Arnage Owner
I'm hoping to get one soon! I've been following the market and by the looks of this thread there is little online forum support - much more, as I understand, for the Continental GT....I hope other chime in - we really need a good forum.

Hey sis442, post some pics when you get it.
Always liked the Arnage and I'd like to see something other than another continental!

Hope you are well!
I like them too. I shopped them for a while before my GT.
One just sold on BAT on the 29th. Check it out here:

Ball joint are VW for the top and Mercedes for the bottom , the numbers are on my other reply on this site . The steering rack is Audi if you find yours weeping (they all fail ) . Theses parts are identical to the ones on your care but are one tenth the price listed by Bentley .

Wow what a great value! Beautiful color combo. I still remember the 1st Arnage I saw in grocery store parking lot in Indianapolis. Was a dark maroon over beige and at the time I didn't know much about Bentleys other than the Turbo R from the late 80s?, which was a dream car for me at the time.
That body style is really aging well and still has that old school combo of subtlety and "regalness" that I dearly miss. (except the 2 piece wheels and side vents that look tacked on that identify it as a T, liked that at first but now a bit less as I think it takes away from the clean lines and build quality)

Another forum to look at is Pistonheads. You might want to join the RROC. (Rolls Royce Owners Club) Our local chapter is very active and has as many Bentleys as it does Rolls Royce cars. It is a great source for help and information from other owners.

Yeah I can help you;
Many of the parts you will need like ball joints are used on other cars and can be bought for one tenth the price if you know the other part numbers . Unfortunately Bentley takes great pains to keep you from this information . Not to worry I have many of them . You can also source used parts on ebay under Bentley Arnage Parts. Some of the vendors however are following Bentleys lead on pricing.
Let me know what parts you are looking for and I will give you the part numbers . You should also check your steering rack for weeping and your accumulators are bad if your ride seems bouncy.

you dont need the $1000 fan , you should also check the 40 amp
fuse in the sealed electronics box right side firewall engine compartment for
hairline cracks . Usually a black line which increases
resistance

Bentley Arnage repairs
I have posted a partial parts cross reference for some time now . It seems Bentley multiplies the standard cost of parts by 10 times .
In Diagnosing problems and / or reprograming control modules Bentley would like you to believe you need their proprietary computer program and equipment which must have allowed access numbers . I have noticed that the VAG5052 system in the Bentley service manual is the same as the VW Audi Group 5052 system which is readily available for $199 on line .
Cheers Bentley
