30-40k USD service at 50,000?

Hi guys,

I'm just reading about Bentleys and maintenance costs as don't know if I want GT or something else. Sure there are lots of false comments, etc. but wondering if stories like these are true?

If I remember right at the 50,000 mile mark there is a big schedule service that costs something like 30-40 dollars and if you do not do it expect it to drop even more. Most of the cars listed are right at the 40000 mile mark.
That sounds so extreme. Maybe that was with ceramics?

Also, what is the price range anyway? Is Bentley Bentayga or GT 2018 cheaper to maintain than Lambo Urus for example? Or Lambo still comes on top?

Thanks a lot! Is Aventador reliable for him? Better / worse than Bentleys tend to be?

There is no Lambo dealer nearby, so that's a pain in the ****, but Bentley sure is close to my place.

He has the 2013 one, as he told me that the 2013 is the updated model with less problem than the 2012 one..
I can't confirm how many % of that is correct but I think the information he got is from the seller here also.
so far we put 20k miles on it.. beat the crap out of it with Hi-Rev for flame shot..and it was seem pretty reliable..no issue at all..
I heard it will need a clutch work when it hit 30 40k miles.. but As I'm reading with ODIS seem like it has 80% left ??
I think it will be more reliable than our car because them electronic is so simple.. it has nothing there for u to play..
the engine look like they design it 20 years ago and keep improve it.. So.. as I'm thinking it is a bullet proof car... with Italian top notch quality of handcraft and material..

anyway it has Check engine light on all the time due to the Bad Capacitor for Start Stop engine.. I don't know why fault start stop system can cause check engine light ... and this we never use also...

so my next is remove the check engine light bulb or buying new Capacitor which hell expensive.. close to 2k I think...and never use it..

For what it's worth. When selecting a mark at this level go with a vehicle that well give the most enjoyment. With any Supercar there are unexpected expenses. Regarding the Bentley 40K of aggregated maintenance is possibly a 10-year running average, [at the dealer]. The late models are wonderful.

Maintaining a Bentley Continental should cost you about the same as maintaining an Audi A8. Maybe a little more but nowhere near what you were told.

Are these engine and transmission related? Or jealious people ruining the car with keys, etc.

Honestly, I'm just tyring to find as many issues with a car as possible as have no idea what to get, Continental GT 2018/2019, Urus, R8 Plus Spyder or Huracan / Aventador. All different cars, yet all are so sexy. Dealers around here don't have anything to test drive (only bentley suv and non-perfromance non-spider r8, no lambos), so it's all just based on youtube reviews and forums.

Audi dealer is like 25 to 30 EUR / hour, man, and they can even order non-oem parts too, just like Lexus. In fact, Lexus here suggests non-oem as they are 2-3x cheaper, lol.

If you're smart about it, maintaning R8, S8, etc. is very cheap. You pay lke 10-20% extra only compared to indie shops and have all the records.

Your correct NG, even the earlier cars wouldn't cost anything like that to maintain over 12 months or even a major service, if one was going to pay that for maintenance Im coming to the US to open a Bentley garage ... LOL
