Maybe try Copart’s and their network of used parts.

See if they have a department that dismantle cars and sell the parts.

Edit: Try these guys also.

Thanks Rico I spoke to Alpine I feel the one they have is a takeoff as they are selling it in the original box. I don’t want to buy something that could be problematic. There is a reason why they took it off another car.

Hi Rick, What ever they sell will have a warranty, they sell parts from vehicles that are stripped & sell the parts, there won't be anything wrong with it, how much do they want for the panel.
Is the part listed on ebay, if so ebay will also guarantee the purchase & again if there is anything wrong ebay will give you a full refund ... All you need is the module from inside it & swop it over to your own panel ...

Rico they Alpine want 480.00 USD for it. I have a line on another one being pulled from a 7600 mile wreck. Hopefully that one works out.
Thanks

Nah Alpine want to much, they are on the expensive side for parts but sometimes one doesn't have a choice if time is of the essence. Lets hope the one you have found works out mate ...

After doing some digging I discovered that the overhead lighting assembly was changed in 2017 at a Bentley dealer. What is puzzling me is they call it a conv top control module but the part number shows it the overhead lighting assembly. What am I missing here?
Thanks Rick

Hello Rick ... The overhead panel controls a few modules which one is the lighting, as I mentioned in the thread the module that has failed in your case is the courtesy lighting when activating the doors opening or closing via the handle or the fob, I can see from the sheet it was replaced & it seems its failed again, all they did is replaced the module which you need to do.
When you remove the panel you'll find the switching module, why its failed I cant say unless the car was with me & a scan will not show why, all its going to show the module has failed ...
Its seems like it was done under warranty maybe you could ask them what fault they found & if the work they carried out is still under warranty (the part may still be under warranty) its worth asking ...

Rico I inquired about it yesterday and was told that because the work performed was done by an authorized Bentley dealer the part would carry a three year warranty but only one year for the labour which is fine with me. They also said that I can take it to any authorized Bentley dealer in North America and show the repair order that they would replace the part for no charge if the part failed but I would be responsible for the labour.

Thats fantastic as I mentioned it would be under warranty, yah they will not cover the labour, book it in to your nearest Bentley dealer ...
