Paid $3.50 US for male cig. end.😎

Better yet paid $19.95 for an AGM battery maintainer.

One more fyi...

the instructions call for changing one of the fuses from 5A to 20A, so you might have to check the value of the existing fuse for the 12V cig socket, if you do the cigarette lighter method.

And with that being said, a member on here from the UK, UKGT, sold me the cigarette lighter part that’s already in the car. I’m going to install it to the right side battery when I get time. I have two 7002 chargers and I’m using the clamps on the right side battery now. To me it’s just better to trickle them both while it’s sitting up for the winter.

Yah good call, I have both batteries set up with quick plug in & realise but extended the cables so both chargers are on the wall close the boot while charging but keep an eye on the chargers, also like you when the car isn't used for long periods Ive fitted timers so even if I'm not around the chargers switch off after 24 hours for 3 days then come back on for 24 hours & so on, the cables are thin enough to close the boot ...
Heres a mad idea, at some point buy 2 more chargers take them apart make a panel for the wall fit the electronics behind the panel and install the panel into the wall in the utility room, wire the cables all concealed all the way to the garage have a box with 2 female plugs on the garage wall another 2 cables to go from the box to the boot, so then I don't even need to go into the garage to check, before that brainwave comes to practice better check on the volt drop garage is down the yard.
Anyone needs a drawing I can post one up ...
