Magic Opening Boot 2009 GT

Washed car three days ago - lots of water.
I close boot in the evening - the next morning it has opened all by itself - every day.
Any thoughts on cause/cure?

Switch , the B wings thing or the motor mechanism has had a soak , leaked water in and zapped a circuit , closed it the opening signal .
When it drys it might spontaneously go way .
