Recommended ECU Tuning for Continental GT

I see a couple of options, VelocityAP, Eurocharged, VividRacing. Anyone have any recommendations? I know it's probably best to dyno tune, but I'm more interested in just a quick out of the box increase

I could comment, but my opinion might be biased ..LOL

Dyno tuning is great when developing software, but to finalize the tune, that software would need to be driven on the street to work out any glitches/surging/knock..etc. Basically, wtv is adjusted on the dyno doesn't necessarily mean it'll function fine on the street.

Nothing's wrong with mail order tunes if the background work has been done. Most of the tuning companies well-known will create tunes on the dyno then street test to create a base program to supply clients over-and-over again.

If your looking for more in-dept information; Send us an email to info@velocityap.com or call our sales to speak with Stuart, he'll explain all the options we can provide for your CGT.

Hello @Irish07@VelocityAP ,
As a sponsor on 6Speed, I believe it would be ok for you to give us some specs as to the gains of your tune, I know I will be interested when I insert the 2014 W12TT into my 2005 GT rebuild, see,
https://www.6speedonline.com/forums/...d.php?t=378611
Also @silvertonesx24 ,
Be sure to list your year and model.

Johnny

Yes if like to see what true gains are too, not exactly sure how to trust some as they seem to be all over the place. 07 GT here.

briefremarks is infamous around these parts
I've been looking at the GIAC tune for a 2006 Flying Spur. Done by flashing using the OBD port. Program allows switching between stock, 91/93 octane (I think its called the Pump tune), and Race tune for use with 100 octane fuel. The vendor publishes dyno results. An older thread shows some forum members having done this particular tune and liking it a lot.
