Bentley trunk release cable

Hey guys need some help putting the truck release cable together. I have no access to manual to help me. I figure it's an easy think to do but not sure if I'm missing anything

Wire dangling I'm having issues with, any help will appreciated especially pictorial

Hello @ChrisGT ,
I deleted your double posted thread so as to not have double posting on the same issue.

As far as your problem, you are missing a section or two of the cable, see my pictures below, the cable runs through the deck lid then down through the rubber sleeve/conduit next to the trunk lid hinge, then through the quarter panel into the trunk, where there is another connection of the cable on its was to the lever behind the seat.

Thanks for the response Johnny, I do have the one running from quarter panel into the conduit then into trunk lid. I believe that's the one hanging in my picture. So that one goes to the latch? I noticed the lever at the back seat is moving without resistance, does it operate on a different cable?and where does it connect in the trunk lid?

Sorry for the delay in response, the plane just landed.
So,
I am a little confused, so you have the black small cable going into the larger insulated piece mounted to the boot lid itself, is the shiny silver cable hanging a secondary cable that someone added along with the tie strap around the latch area, or is the silver cable broken and pulled out of the black housing of the cable ?

Or is the cable broken/snapped at the lever behind the passengers rear seat, and the piece circled in red is what goes to the latch, and someone pulled the broken cable out of it's housing ?

I suspect the cable is snapped at the lever, will have to dig into it to see what's going on in there! Maybe it seized because when I just tried to push it via the brass fitting located above the starting battery going towards the back seat it's not moving at all.
