There are a lot of threads on centre caps, but I figured I'd post a new one to not hijack someone else's questions.
I was looking at installing my floating center caps, but I am wondering how I remove the middle chrome ring. The center B I pulled out with the tool in the trunk, and then the rest of the chrome centre cap I also pulled straight out (no screws, etc). But now I am trying to remove the smaller chrome ring that says "BENTLEY MOTORS", and it seems to be fastened with plastic rivets?
It's weird, because on the back of the centre cap it says "MADE IN JAPAN", where my car is from originally, so perhaps they manufacture their center caps in some unique way? I'm beginning to doubt if my floating caps will fit on here..
I guess I'm going to have to go Macgyver on them and create my own solution!
Randy, I contacted a couple of Bentley styling firms / resellers in England, and they could sell them to me for around 800-900 pounds. I felt like that was too much money for me, even though I love the idea of them, so I ended up browsing eBay and found them for about 150 bucks, brand new (without gift box) shipped from England. Luckily I purchased them right before the new year, so I was able to import them to Sweden without additional taxes & import charges.
