mounting front license bracket?

The big day happened, my new to me OEM front license plate bracket arrived for my 2007 GT. So I'm looking at this license plate bracket and the bumper and wondering how to properly attach said bracket? If I understand correctly, front license plate brackets are originally included packed in the trunk from the factory as a dealer install item. If so, I believe this is the story with my 2007GT... I bought the vehicle used without a front license plate bracket neither on the front bumper skin nor in the trunk. And my new to me front plate bracket appears unused, still sealed in the factory plastic package with a Bentley part number on the package of 3W0807267D A7W. So how to mount the plate bracket on the front bumper skin? I suppose I could just go at it with 5ea. short drywall screws and be done with the project in a few minutes. Oh yea, and looking the plate bracket over, it's not apparent how the plate mounts to the bracket either... there's 4ea. little indentations in the bracket that line-up where the mounting holes in the plate are, and admittedly it looks like it would be quick and easy to just run drywall screws in there to mount the plate to the bracket... but I'm thinking if I go that route, I should break-out some duct tape and haywire to add to give it the finishing touch... except I'm fresh out of proper duct tape... I only have gaffers tape and no actual haywire... only some wire ties and plastic zip ties... so I'm rather stuck. Any tips? I really hope I don't need to remove the bumper skin as the courtesy light in the right headlight is stuffed... and I know what a knock-down drag-out that is to change and was hoping to avoid going there till that round to-it comes around.
