Continental GT Front Seats- Removing seat backs?

I needs to get the seat back off one of the front seats in my 2007 GT.

The seat is out of the car and on my bench but for the life of me I cannot see how the rear cover comes off the seat.

Any ideas?

Thanks in advance!

That’s great! Thank you.

I will see if I can work it out.

I don’t suppose there are any diagrams/drawings by any chance?

Pull out footlight from bottom of back panel.

Remove two retaining screws which fit through carpet panel

Carefully pull back the squab side bolsters and remove the two trim clips which retain the squab infill panel.

Pivot the infill panel (i.e. the piece which your spine rests against) forward (at the top) to gain access to the two seat back upper retaining screws. (It is not necessary to completely remove the panel)

Remove the two upper retaining screws from the back panel (i.e they’re screwed through into the back panel).

Starting from the bottom edge, pull the squab cover from the gap between the squab and the back panel. Lift the back panel upwards to release the centre bracket then pull rearwards to remove.

This made me lol, it's like they're talking in code to this American. "squab infill panel", righteeoo!

Thankfully the OP is British, so he has a firm grasp of the Queen's English, unlike many of those who post on here.
There is a really funny Amazon tv show, "The Patriot", where the characters work for a piping firm, it's not clear, but it sounds like for oil. They had a lot of lines just like the "infill squab" (above).

This is a work of art: https://streamable.com/8yzvx
