Apologies if they've been asked before, but I can't find anything on searches!
1) Wiper blades. Well I've bought some, but damned if I can see how to get the old ones off. Embarrassing! Suggestions?
2) Soft close. Well doesn't seem to. Big issue to solve? It doesn't desperately worry me.
3) My car has Ben-Hur upgrade. Dash control 'wheel' changes info display *and* adjusts settings on the stereo (mostly preset channels). Is this expected?
Cheers!

Mine doesn't. You'll have to describe with more detail. Volume obviously changes volume. My wheel controls don't control anything else, like changing channels and such. What buttons do what?
Thanks. I'll have to play properly later as I was driving it home.
Volume works as expected. The Thumbwheel(?) that selects display options in the instrument binnacle also appears to change preset / channel on the radio.....
@CatmanV2 ,
As far as the soft close doors on your 2007, test both doors by very gently and slowly closing each to just the first click, and let us know hear any sound of the soft close motor on each at all.
Remember, you can order a build sheet from this guy on eb, cost only $3.65 !
@Johnny Hotspur GT any thoughts on my door issue, oh font of all knowledge?
Fuse checks out OK. Replacement looks reasonably simple by the manual, and part is cheapish but if there's a simple fix....

Hello C,
It's very rare that the actual soft close motor goes, it is shown in the picture below attached to the inner door panel.
What really seems to be the issue I have always read about, is a mircoswitch located in the door latch mechanism itself, that is also shown in my picture below.
You will see the difference between the two latch mechanisms, with the left unit being non soft close.
Or a broken cable from the SC motor to the latch.
I myself have issue with my A8L W12 front doors right now, the rear work as they should, but the passenger side front you can hear the motor run sometimes, but the door does not pull in, yet the driver side is just silent and does nothing, so I am thinking mircoswitch on the drivers side, and maybe cable on the passenger side, I will find out after my B is done 😉
Now, if you pull off your door panel and do not see that SC motor, don't go any further as you do not have soft close doors. 🤫
EDIT: I must have missed your EDIT that your passenger soft close words, so you have SC, great !
Thanks for your help Johnny! I also have the "Power-operated door (power latching)" in my build sheet, but neither of my doors has a functioning soft close.
If the problem seems to be that microswitch, what does one do in that particular situation?
Thanks! Unfortunately AudiWorld is blocked to EU visitors, so I can't see that thread.
I haven't installed IETIS yet, would you happen to know which fuse I should check?
I know the UK is no longer in the EU, but I can access Audiworld no issues at all.
The fuse is number 3 in the driver's knee roll fuse box (for the RHD, 2 for the LHD). The cover pulls off with a firm tug. There are about 6-8 clip fasteners.
Should be a 20A
*BUT* there are different fuses for each side, and according to IETS those fuses also control the door module, windows and rear windows. So
a) Unlikely that both your doors would fail at the same time
b) If the other functions are working, don't think it's a fuse.
Further caveat: I've been messing around with cars for years. I'm not a pro, but I can normally get buy. This is my first Bentley, though, and it's a very different beast even from my most recent Maserati. So I could be totally wrong!
