Hello everyone, I am looking for a battery charger for the GT and I have seen that there are original Bentley's on Ebay for about € 500, and there are others from the Ctek brand that are worth half, about € 250.

What I would like to know is if they are really worth it. The car is used approximately once a week, and if you know of a place that is cheaper than Ebay

 

Bentley ones are re-branded C-Tek like Maserati and Aston.

Mine is on a C-Tek MX 5.0 and it's great

It will depend on what socket is in your car. The esteemed @Dark Green has something different I suspect.

Ahh doh. Not my day today . Is there not a standard 12v socket in the boot as well? I'm sure I started mine with one before the dedicated adapter arrived.

You need the cigarette adapter.
My car and @Dark Green has another socket below that 12v socket which takes a different plug.

I rather doubt there's any meaningful difference. The MX 7 has a higher maximum charge current, but my MX 5 is currently having no issues with my GT and I *know* I have some issue with components not shutting off properly, so it's able to handle that no problem
