My 3rd Brake light is out and needs to be replaced.
Bentley wants ~$2500 to replace the $640 dollar LED Strip - borderline comical.

Can anyone recommend a good indy in NY, NJ, PA with experience on dong this pretty common repair.

I did thank you. I read through it and while I am typically very hands on, I am concerned I won’t get through it on my own.

hopefully I can locate an experienced Indy to reduce the cost and let a pro do the work

 

Just for a data point - my 2005 had this work done before I took delivery. The work was done by a local Bentley dealer for about $1300.

 

I spoke to my local Bentley service department they quoted me 6 hours of labor @$225/hour + $640 for the part. Independent of any little surprises I am sure to be discovered at $40/clip

6 hours sound right with the dealer?

 

Ok sourced the 3rd Brake light for $440 best price I can find.

Anyone have a suggestion on any shops in the NU/NJ/PA/CT area? Willing to travel
