..will not shut off except when the ignition is off. Recent new batteries and everything else works normally, including all the console ac/temp/fan functions
EXCEPT holding down the "rear" button for 3 seconds does not shut off the fans.

Any thoughts?

 

This was not a problem as it was my "user error." I was not familiar with the seat "cooler" only seat "warmer."
Having read the manual my understanding was I could cut out the fans which feed the vents in front of the rear seats (per manual hold "Rear" button for 3 seconds).
The fans were running because the scroll wheels were in the blue numbers which I had never used. The power the vents in the rear only on the cold settings NOT
the heat settings I was familiar with.
