Jack stand placement

Good afternoon,
I have a 2008 Flying Spur, I want to jack the car up and put it on axle stands whilst getting the wheels refurbished.
Any ideas as to were to place axle stands as I cannot put them where I jack the car as there is not enough space.
Any help much appreciated.
Nigel.

Thanks Dark Green, oh well onward and upwards as we say. ( So long as upwards is not onto axle stands it seems!!)
Take care,
Nigel. ( Estepona, Spain)

When I recently did a brake fluid flush i positioned the stands under the rear control arm inner bush joint .
Its about fist sized so the stand curved tops seat in the curvatures under the arm bush housing .
The downer is the rubber bush , one bush feeling the whole corner weight .But it’s gently applied and not for long about 1 hr .
I figured they take far larger dynamic loads , you know shock with pot holes , hard breaking + bumps etc even take offs and landing etc .
I know there are two lower and a pair of smaller upper and the main strut to share the dynamic loads , but all the same just to carefully rest it gently on one bush directly under the chassis it seemed to work .

Having said this you can get stands ( not called axle for obvious reasons ) that are fitted around the Jack .

This =

You sit one over the Jack .Jack up the vehicle on its pads .When off the ground fit the legs to the new height and remove the Jack and repeat .
The stand is left supporting the car on the pads .For longer jobs this would be better on a lot of levels .
