Do you not want the lower grille inserts to be the same shiny chrome as your main grille? That is what I would like for mine, but it is obviously a personal preference. I have chrome wheels, so perhaps it blends in better going with all chrome.
I preferred the blacked-out look. Not sure I want to paint the main grill but thinking about it.

Thankfully they pulled the bracket and harness from the old bumper before tossing it. So I'm torn since it's $535 for the newer sensors but if I spend the time to pull the bumper and also scratch it then it might cost me more than $535....

Not sure you can insert the sensors with the bumper on. I think the crash bar is in the way.
