I am trying to determine if this connector goes to anything. It is located just behind the coolant fill on a 2004 CGT LHD. I just got done repairing a bunch of wires on the exu harness and came across this connector. I don’t see any other plug in the area around it. Thanks in advance.
Unfortunately that wasn’t it. The MAF was plugged in. I removed the air box on the passenger side and it comes up from behind the engine. The wire colors are white white black and grey if that helps. I have been going through IETIS connector by connector but haven’t found it yet.
Hello @V12diablo ,
I am going to say that I am 99.99999 % sure that what you have there is one of the four oxygen sensor plugs, there will be two plugs on each the left and right side areas of the firewall, the passenger side plugs may be under the white coolant expansion tank, I now see that your tank is black, and I also see the two 02 cables with the same shielding running through the passenger side firewall just as mine are pictured, could it possibly be one of the driver side sensors plug.
Maybe you could give us a little background, engine out, or exhaust removed ?

Johnny, no recent engine out that I am aware of. This is the GT I was having issues starting and was getting a lot of codes from. Some had attempted repairs on the ecm wiring and I was getting several Terminal 30 low voltage codes. I repaired all the wiring on the ecm and found I had a bad ECM Relay #167 in the relay/fuse box in the engine bay fuse box causing the terminal 30 issue. I do believe you are right that it is a passenger side post catalyst oxygen sensor connector. But I think it is one that was replaced and left in there. It has the same connector and wiring colors as the one that is currently plugged into the wiring harness and comes up right next to it. I checked the drivers side and that sensor also has the same wiring colors and lay out. I did a full scan and I am not getting any O2 sensor codes. So for now I will just zip tie it out of the way till there is a reason to pull the engine.
