So your T is still behind the steering rack? One side of the T goes straight up to the engine center connection, and the other goes to the passenger side lines to connect to the rest of the system?

Edit Never mind, I see it now. Your T is directly behind the engine. I couldn't do this because I was using copper lines, no way they'd bend like that to rise out of the steering rack. But, I may try your way just to see if I can get my system working without having to disable the vaccum lines that run the rear of the car. Where did you get your vacuum tubing and Ts?

I used 5/16 Fuel line two straight couplings and one T.
Bought it at the local auto parts store.
The fuel line is more flexible and easier to work with.

Yes 5/16, I remember the size being 8mm. I'll order the fittings and line and try out this soon.

I'm curious as to where you spliced in on the passenger side though, it looks like you cut a line off, but that line actually Ts off behind the steering rack to some other lines, not just the engine center. I remember this being an issue, I had to cut that line after the first T, and cap it off, which was the most stressful part of the job.

Johnny's video demonstrates this

I spliced into the factory line before the sensor at the wheel well.

That line goes to other vac lines though, not just the one behind the steering rack. See around 1:03 of Johnny's video

It only connects behind the engine and back

That's very strange as mine is also an 07 and it definitely connects to a bunch of check valves and other parts of the system (right and left side of the engine I believe). I had to cut and cap the steering rack line

There are different connections, but that specific line that we bypass only connects at 3 points : pump at the driver's side wheel well , behind the engine and passenger side wheel well before the sensor and then going to the back

Not according to this though. there's a connection in between the sensor and the engine center pipe

Blue circle is a connection. Red line is where I cut and capped my line

Not needed , you bypass that piece and connect directly before the sensor

I see what you mean , but I bypassed that piece and connected directly before the sensor , not sure how accurate this diagram is for 2007

My concern would be that you cut off a bunch of the system that goes to the engine. Of course, I also cut off a bunch of my system that goes to the purge valve and exhaust valves, but I'd be much more concerned about cutting off engine stuff. Anyway I plan to test and hopefully your shorter routing will work and ensure I can reconnect the back of the system without getting a quick vacuum pump on acceleration.

It definitely should work.
I would assume if some of the engine lines were cut off , it wouldn't run smoothly and without any codes.
