I have a 2005 Bentley Continental GT and I only have the valet key with 2 buttons but the button on the driver side door doesn’t work to open the trunk.

anyone else have this issue? How to fix?

As you stated, you only have the valet key, therefore there is no way to open the trunk normally, as the valet key disables the B on the bootlid, and the door switch also, that is why it is called the valet key, it disables all access to the trunk and also the glove box if locked with the master key, you need a master 3 button keyfob for normal operation.
