Changing batteries on 2015 GTC
Changing batteries on 2015 GTC
Hello all,
Need some help. Purchased a 2015 Bentley GTC with 8300 miles. I believe batteries are original OEM. I keep vehicle on battery tender whenever I am not using it but have noticed that it stays in the orange “absorption” phase (3) for a very long time. I am not sure if this is normal or indicative of a failing battery.
Additionally, if I need to replace the batteries I would like to do so without losing any settings and don’t know how to best preserve power during that process. I would prefer not to go through dealer to do this. Any help would be apppreciated

For what it's worth my original batteries on my 2013 worked but I replaced them earlier this year, to avoid going thru the faults and messages that would start
when they start to go bad. So I got about 9 years on the factory originals.

Access to starter battery
The manual on my 2015 GTC shows tabs on both left and right side quarter panels for access to both batteries however there are only tabs on the left side for the main battery. How do I access the starter battery? There appears to be one bolt holding that right rear quarter panel in. Am I missing something here?
