As to your 2 plugs and a regulator/motor with 4 sockets, that doesn't make any sense, please post a picture of your original motor, as if you look above at post number 6, there are not 4 plugs, not even 2, just 1 as shown in my pictures, and pictures of a rear window regulator for a GT, you seem to have pictured a front window regulator motor module.

Nope and I have same on both sides so believe original motors probably due to low use never been changed.
See below
This is my door card sockets for 2 speakers and window switch.
I have a new 4 window close and window lock drivers door panel coming hopefully this week or next and I am going to travel with my dogs for 2 days and one of them usually ends up standing on the rear window switch, so to avoid this disaster at motorway speeds, I am going to unplug the blue rear switch plugs whilst I have both door cards off.
I seem to have a lot more play on the new window compared to my other one, that goes down and create a loud thunking noise, which I am told is because it doesnt calibrate proerly, even though I have following the learning procesudre, neither are doing it well. I do have the new window dropping just a few mm so thats good enough for opening and closing the passenger door. It´s not often I drop the rears, but the last time I did thats what blew the top pulley!!
