Hi All
I have a 2013 Flying Spur with a damaged kessy unit.
My keyman had tried to get the pin from the old kessy but failed due to the damage on the electronics.
I have purchased a new kessy unit but unable to reprogrammed the keys.
Would appreciate input on how do i proceed next.
Hello @fongliang ,
You or your keyman should still be able to get the skc from the 93C86 eeprom on the KESSY, the KESSY module may be dead as a whole, or not functional or readable while in the vehicle, but, while on the bench, the 93C86 chip is almost always readable, be it on the board with the crystal jumped, or the 93C86 chip removed from the board and read, using either the carprog which will actually display the four digit code that you add a zero in front of, or by reading the same 93C86 chip with Ponyprog and doing a calculation to get the skc.
Or, you should be able to read the 95160 chip on the master (#1) engine ecu, and do the calculations for the skc.
hi Johnny , thanks for the quick response.
I passed Bank #1 Ecu , the original keys ,and the kessy to the keyman but the he is still unable to read the pin maybe due to insufficient tools.
What are the other opinion if I really cant get the kessy?
Will online coding able to programme in a new kessy unit?
Thank you.

@fongliang ,
I can't help you as to the online side of it, some have had it done before over on Audiworld, but I believe that person has stopped responding..
The proper tools are needed to read and get the code from the bin file, I understand that you have a 2013, and these instructions are from the older models, but, really all that has changed is the number of the engine ecu chip to read, from 95040's to the 95160's, I have read 2004-2011 with out issue.
You say that you got a new kessy, is it brand new, or used, are all of the part numbers along with the software and hardware numbers exactly the same, has your keyman tried swapping your kessy's chip over onto the replacement KESSY module, also be aware that during any reading of said chip, orientation of the number 1 pin must be correct, that is, when soldering the chip to the board, or reading the chip with a clamp on clip, or chip holder socket, otherwise, you will end up with all zeros or FF 00's
