Mulsanne niggles
Mulsanne niggles
Hi there! I'm new here, and also a new Bentley owner. Just bought a 2012 Mulsanne with around 100.000km on the clock with full main dealer service history and no accidents and no resprays.
There are couple of thinks, that need sorting out, though:
1. the bonnet struts don't hold the bonnet up
2. is it normal, that when I press the black B on the boot lid, the lid opens, but I have to push it second time to fully open it?
3. are the windows supposed to have "one click open and close" funtion, aren't they? I need to hold the button to either close the window, or open.
4. the Naim stereo system doesn't play music from my iPhone. is it really that old-fashioned?
Other than that, the car is amazing and I love so much.
Thanks for the comments, and have a nice day!

Welcome korte! Nice to meet you!
Sounds like you may need new struts for the bonnet and boot, but you could try lubing the boot struts and hinges as a first step.
The windows, at least on the US spec cars, are "one click" operation.
On my '09 the NAIM system had a short cable with an apple style connector in the glove box for iphones. Not having an iphone, I never tried it nor did I try music through bluetooth from my android phone but I know that works on my '16. Can you connect your phone for calls with BT? If you can't play music through BT and don't want to have to plug in the phone, you may be able to plug in a BT receiver to connect your phone wirelessly.

In terms of playing music from your iphone - in my 2011 I can stream music from YouTube Music (android) through the Infotainment unit by making sure the phone is set up for bluetooth streaming as well as selecting the phone from the Media menu.
