w12 engine and gearbox

hi,
anyone know or can redirect me to data - from 2004 to nowadays - what upgrades were made to w12 engine and maybe next types / versions of gearbox? any model/naming convention?

wondering if it is needed to pick only right concrete version in case of engine or gearbox swap or anything will fit as p&p

Sazam,
Check out the DIY Bible for CTC and Owners Manual in PDF format. Here is the link. It tells a lot of the information on the engine. See post #170 which is the latest version as of today. The guide goes into some of the details on the engine, possibly not to the level you are looking for, but it does cover some of the changes to the engine and transmissions used over the years.
