Expect to pay about $3-4k for an EFI kit.

You need some more parts to complete it, but it will not be $3-4k.

Looks like you have not priced out a harness and ECU recently. They typically go for $1600-2400 depending on brand. You will have 2,700-4,500 in a EFI conversion.

I wouldn't stick the Ram Jet EFI kit on anything. For the money you'll have in a 502 you'd be a fool not to use a wet sump LS7 or LS3. The fuel injection and ECU on the LS engines is more complex and advanced than 90% of the aftermarket injection systems.

Yeah, I would prefer the LS7 as well, but if someone is going to use a 502, and they are looking for an EFI kit, its the one to use.

You can get a complete 572 rollercam motor for $12K (a much, much better motor) and the EFI will probably cost you another $8K to have someone set it up for you.

Personally, for all the EFI advantages, I'd STILL rather run a single quad on something like this just because these engines sound so good carbureted and further, there's almost NO WIRING needed to drop it into whatever car you like the burn rubber for literally MILES. I'd take one of these motors, drop it into a Vega with a Muncie close ratio 4-speed and weld some tubs into it, run some beefier channel iron along the frame rails, tack that into place, bolt a rollcage cage into it for extra stiffness, and again, your TOTAL cost (including the car) would be probably around $20K if you left it without EFI, maybe enough for a repaint on the Vega (sleeper!). You'd instantly have a 10 second car.
