The keyless touch part of the drivers door on my 2012 GT is not working. Bentley want £1,100.00 to replace the door handle! Then paint on top of that!!
In every other respect the door lock works.. using the key fob OK ..
Locking when using passenger door keyless touch..OK Manual locking.. OK
Opening door using keyless fob.. OK
So in every respect the lock is clearly operating properly! It appears therefore the keyless sensor ONLY in the handle has packed up! Is there any workaround to either replace or correct the sensor that you guys might know. Thank you to everyone who reads this. In anticipation of receiving advice. Maybe a UK Independent has an idea? Im living on the South Coast near Brighton. Thanks again. Tony

I had the same issue a few years back (2008 Speed) Bentley Glasgow changed the internals of the handle. Iirc is was a few hundred pounds. The handle is still the same one ie didnt need replacing or painting for that matter. It was just the transmitter had water ingress.

I changed mine on 14 spur. bought a used one it was a different color removed the inside and put in my handle. works fine. if you don't fix you will get a message that say move selector to position P. It will also start working sometimes and not work for weeks.also the when you lock car it will unlock itself. Btw all the handles on the car are the same (driver and passenger) front and rear on spur as well.
