I was hoping I can get some help. I have misfire codes coming up P0300...Random misfire...P0303 and P0308. So as we know its Cylinder 3 and 8. I changed spark plugs and coils on both cylinders and after I did. the codes came back the same after a reset. So then I switched out Cylinder 3 with Cylinder 5 coils to see what will happen. Ran that and the ECL came back to Cylinder 3 and 8 again. Any advice or suggestions would be appreciated.

 

Back to basics - Combustion takes AIR - FUEL - IGNITION.

You did some reasonable checks on Ignition.

We can assume, if other cylinders are getting air, these cylinders should as well, so for now, let's park Air.

What about fuel? How are the fuel injectors at 3 and 8? If no fuel is getting in, then....misfire...

Should mention some other things that can get overlooked. Wiring and harnesses up to the coils. Even though the coils and plugs seem to check out, how about the primary sides of those coils? Also check same on the fuel injectors, not just - are the injectors flowing fuel, but are they being triggered?
