Ride height on 07 GT

So on my new to me 07 GT the ride height seems lowering front, suspension holds fine doesn’t bleed down at all, car goes up and down as it should and no codes on my vcds. The car does have bigger aftermarket wheels on it from previous owner. I’m wondering if the height sensor rods have been changed to lower the car if that’s a thing or not? I’ll get under the car tmrw to check them? Also could the car have been programmed in computer to have been done to make it sit lower? Any help is appreciated!

I have been told that it is possible to add lowering links, such as these:

https://www.ebay.com/itm/151672366407

I have also been told that it is possible to tweak the ride height a little bit with VCDS, but I have not fiddled with that yet myself.

What size wheels & tires are you running?

yes - you sometimes need the callibration via vcds - especially when you notice asymetric heights

tricky procedure - you may mess all if done wrong so be careful.

can someone forward me that procedure by chance? Car is running 22” wheels currently but for sure seems lowered in the front. Again the ride control works fine does go up and down and holds just wrong height in front

Hello Davawon,

Attached is a detailed explanation if you read through the thread. Zaos gives an accurate procedure. You have to do everything exactly as stated or it defaults "usually" to the previous adaptation.
