Lower control arm bush dimensions

I'm having a problem with the bushes supplied from the spares place. They came in a kit and are supposed to be 4E0407181B, but when I measure the ones that came out the car, the new ones are smaller, by 0.28m.. They just slide in and will rattle in the arm. I've asked them to measure other bushes they have in stock, to see if these are just out of tolerance ones, but so far had no luck getting them to do it, their solution is to return the kit (I've already fitted all the other bushes so no returning them) and have me to buy the whole control arm. This is the bush that holds the air strut on the front control arm.

If anyone happens to have their old bushes lying around, or a new 4E0407181B bush somewhere, that will help a lot. The new ones are all aluminium, whilst the old ones have a steel core.

These are stock bush for various Audis, might need to see if I can get one from Audi directly is all else fails

I ended up getting whole new lower control arms, as I could not find a suitable bush that matches what I had in mine. Came to a suitable arrangement with FS which I was happy with.

I take it, it was still worth buying the bushings kit to do the rest yourself?
Some of my bushes are showing signs of age so will have to replace at some time
I was hoping to find uprated poly ones.

I think it is worth it, mine is an early 2005 model, so maybe different to the later ones. The rest of the bushes fitted, I have a 12ton hydraulic press and the a bushing press kit, so made it easy. I priced OEM Audi bushes and they were significantly more expensive than the FS kit, and looked exactly the same.
