Bentley GT driver's seat entry/exit "convenience" button

This round black button on the left side of the steering wheel column, should turn on/off this "convenience" feature.
I read the manual but I can't figure out how to make the setting for the seat to move back upon exiting/entering the driver's seat.
I can't make sense of the manual. Currently pressing the button does nothing.

If anyone can tell me what I need to do I would appreciate it.

I inquired about this exact same feature on mine. All that small button does, is allows the steering wheel raise up when exiting the car. To get the seat to move all the way back on it's own when exiting the car simply doesn't exist.

Pushing the button with the ignition on or off does nothing on mine. Is there something else I have to do?

Leave the button on and wonderful things start happening whenever you shut down the engine and open the driver's door. It's just a master switch for the convenience feature which activates in certain situations as described, the button itself doesn't trigger any immediate action.

Thanks, but how do you tell if it's on or off? I guess I have to try turning off the ignition and opening the door, and if nothing happens, push it again and repeat.

IIRC, button stays in = it's on. You may want to confirm this, I've only tried the feature once and even though I didn't care to continue using it, it seemed to work.

Mine doesn't stay in. Probably not worth worrying about it.
Thanks for your prompt replies.
