Anyone have a part number for the replacement micro switch?
It looks like it says 'Serie 195' on it - has to be a similar switch out there if OEM is no longer available seperately.
I had a blue and black wire that connected to the micro switch, but both wires have broken out of the switch. They are pins #1 and #3. Temporarily, do I just connect these two pins together?
Switch says 'Hartmann Serie 195' -- if anyone can find a match/something compatible.
I take it, it is a 'normally closed' switch.
I looked through the Audi forums, the door switch they use seems a bit different, at least from looks.
If anyone finds something, please post up. Thank you!
@mrc00l88 ,
It didn't show up in my searches either, I just happened to find it while Google searching Hartmann micro switches, then with the Bentley part number 3W0 906 028 for the latch assembly, and the pictures popped up, and I hit the ebay listing, it did say no USA yesterday, but I messaged the seller to ask to reconsider shipping to the USA, he never responded until moments ago, but earlier today eBay allowed the sale, the seller just messaged me saying that ebay had a glitch, and that global shipping wasn't working at the time when I originally tried to place my order, but all good now, just received my tracking number as I type this.
I tried searching for the Kinghor switches, I found some, but not the exact, the ones with the long mounting pins, do not have the contact arm, and the ones that do have the arm, it is not the exact same arm as we have, and or they have the short mounting pins.
The BuyParts site is blocked for me as "403 Forbidden", the pictures show the switch and harness just as the ebay listing, even showing a "Bentley" bag, yet I can not access the website, and the Facebook page selling the same part, hasn't posted on the part since 2017...
I am sure if we could get in contact with either of these sellers, the price would be much less than what I just paid..
The switch they used on my assembly pictured below, Hartmann, has this diagram on the back - I take this to depict 'NC' normally closed -- is that accurate?
