Hi, my parking brake is not functioning checking fault codes they indicate an electrical problem can anyone shed light on this regards.

When the ignition is turned on the parking brake switch and the symbol on the instrument panel flash and continue to flash while driving any idea's on the problem.

 

Mine acted up like that and I had to replace the switch. I think a prior owner may of spilled something down there.
