Issue with soft close door on Bentayga

Hello Everyone,

having an issue with a brand new car purchased a couple days ago.

2024 bentayga S

really liking the car, but the right side (passenger) doors soft close feature fails about half of the time. Have driver the car 120 miles in the last 3 days and have had it on the tender each night in case it’s a low voltage issue.

my service admin, says it should straighten itself out as the car was sitting for quite a while.

any one have any experience with this or have any thoughts?

Brought my wife's Bentayga in a few months ago for the same issue and, of course, it worked 100% while we we were there. It doesn't happen very often but at least we documented the issue while under warranty.

AlistairD is infamous around these parts
On my GT, the soft close was dependant on the angle the car was parked. If the passenger door was lower than the drivers door it worked but not vice versa. I'm sure it was a micro switch thing.

They did nothing and it still does it occasionally.
