Bentley Continental GT No Start

Hi All.

Got in my Bentley yesterday and started it up and after about 5 minutes of idling it cut out and has not started since.

There are some weird behaviours going on:
  1. Get in turn on ignition and the "press brake pedal to start engine" warning comes on...i press the brake pedal and the warning does not go away. After a minute or so the warning goes away and the car will crank (with foot on brake) but not start.
  2. Get out...close door and the car will lock with the key...have a think for a moment then unlock again. Open door (slam door) and the car will lock and stay locked.
I have had a leak into the passenger footwell...carpet is wet - so i have pulled the carpet back and inspected the relays in there and there is no sign of corrosion or green crusties - not to say somehting else isnt wrong there though. I need to take the carpet out really to get it all dry and fix the issue that is causing the leak - blocked drain under the in engine fusebox probably (top place to put it - well done Bentley).

I have done 2 scans - one when i got in today and cleared all the codes to see what was left attached as "After Codes Cleared" and one after i managed to get it to crank "Log 2 After Crank No Start"

My thoughts are power supply issue to the ECMs - but i have checked the fuses (i think all of them) and the Relays (i think all of them) and the fuses i have checked have continuity and the relays work when tested out of the car.

Question is...is the lack of power to the ECMs due to an immobiliser issue or maybe something more simple or really obscure?

Any help greatly appreciated.

Thanks all

Gaz

Hello @Jinxgj ,
Being that you have had water into your passenger (RHD ?) side floor, and your scan show so many shorts to ground, I would be pulling the cowl cover off at the windshield / engine compartment to inspect the E-Box and both ECU'S for water.

Also of note, your scans show a house battery voltage of 10.25 to 11.44, neither of which is good, even with the engine off, normally you should be high 12's low to mid 13's.

The cowl drain is in the center under the HVAC suitcase.

Johnny
