ctek msx7.0 issue? Dead or malfunction?

Hi,
I left my B for a longer period of time without connecting to CTEK.
Was not bad - just gone down to 11.78v and was able to start the car without any problem.
But the problem is with my ctek msx7.0:
- connected
- started
- and...

the lowest battery level icon (diode) is blinking all the time and nothing happening after 24hours.

it is happening after few trials earlier.

The few trials earlier resulted with red error diode after few minutes from connecting.

Do you know what is the problem? My ctek is dead? Malfunction?

Thanks in advance for help.

From what I can tell the blinking light on first stage is detecting a sulfated battery, I would try unplugging charger from wall and battery, then reconnect to both and push the mode button until your CAR and RECOND lights are lit, and then see if that will disulfate your battery and allow it to accept a charge again, if it does your good to go, if not ,I would say time for new battery.

Be sure to clean the contacts on both the car and CTEK connectors particularly if you have the magnetic ones. The magnetic disc connectors on the car get dirty very easily as they're outside and get covered with road grime. A quick wipe with a cloth once a month is all that's needed. The magnetic ones are fitted to the Continental 2012+, Flying Spur 2013+, Mulsanne 2014+, & Bentaygas.

Agree with Bruce,

I noticed the same issue with my charger i.e. not moving up the charging cycles. I unplugged it, cleaned both connectors, trunk and charger. Now the charger cycles through the various steps and reached the top maintenance light the next day.
