Wheel Dollies

Has anyone used wheel dollies to move their car around in the garage or shop. I’m looking at the vevor 8000lbs ones but wanted to see if anyone has any experience with them or any other brand. It would be long term as my front end is flat and won’t rise up so I have to get it to a shop but being that low it would never make it onto a flatbed without damaging the front end.

We used these around the shop for years and they work great, any one of this style will probably be fine.

Stay away from this style-Grarbage:

Thanks for the reply. Yea I bought the vevor 8000 lbs kind you said not to buy 😂. But I do plan on getting the ones you suggested soon. I don’t need to constantly move the car around, just move it over towards the workbench to give us a little more room in the middle of the garage.

My issue with the black ones is there is nothing to really retain the tire-we had trouble with them catching a crack or seam in the surface your moving it over and the tire coming off the dolly or twisting the steering around. The other advantage of the ones I recommended is there is no jacking of the vehicle-just slide into place and pump the ratchet to raise the tire off floor and retain the whole assembly/tire nice and straight. The wheels are also much higher quality and they roll with much less effort. Of course if you have nice floor with no imperfections or cracks/seams you maybe fine with the black ones.
