Bentley Conti GT, how do I update maps?

 

There are several different methods depending on the model year. Over the 21 years and several different generations of the Continental the methods have changed. What year is the car you want to update?

 

My Conti GT is a 2020.

 

Continental 18MY-24MY:

If the service data is not provided* you will need to set up a data connection in the vehicle by inserting a Mini SIM card or tethering your smartphone.

1. From the NAV homepage, select the Options icon.
2. Select Navigation settings.
3. Select Map update.
4. Select Online update.

Note: If an updated map is available for your region then you will receive a pop-up notification on screen.

*In the USA, UK, Germany, France, Belgium, Netherlands, Luxembourg, Eire, Spain, Italy, Austria, Switzerland, Sweden, Denmark) data allowance for this service is provided by an embedded SIM at no additional cost for duration of primary licence period (three years).

 

Not trying to hijack the thread, but does anyone have a link to companies/people selling up to date custom maps for the DVD-based navigation system? Officially the support ended 2020 and no newer official map discs are available, but I've come across newer unofficial ones. Can't just find a source anymore.

Yes, copies of 2015-2020 navigation DVD:s but not 2024 and newer that were available as homebrew options last year. I really wouldn't want to compile my own using the reverse-engineered file structure of the disc and up to date maps in the same format, but that's what I'll probably have to do if PnP-options are no longer available.
